Crop image
Crop images by a selected area or standard ratio right on your machine. Images never leave your machine.
The image crop tool lets you drag a selection frame directly on your image to keep exactly the part you want, or pick a standard ratio (1:1 for avatars, 16:9 for cover photos, 3:4/4:3 for print) and fine-tune by dragging the corners.
Everything happens right on your device — your images are never uploaded to a server.

Frequently asked questions
Does cropping an image send it online?
Everything runs right in your browser — your files are never uploaded to any server, keeping them completely private.
Does cropping reduce image quality?
The kept portion isn't resampled, so it stays as sharp as the original; if you export to JPG it's lightly recompressed at the quality level you choose. To keep it perfectly intact, choose the PNG format.
Can I crop to a ratio to make an avatar or cover photo?
Yes. Choose the 1:1 ratio for a square profile picture, 16:9 for a horizontal cover photo, 9:16 for a vertical (story) image; the frame locks to the exact ratio as you drag the corners.
