Both files are read & compared on your device — no upload to any server
Comparing two PDF files helps you quickly spot the differences in text content between two versions — a revised contract, a draft versus the final, a document before and after edits — without reading line by line.
The tool clearly highlights what was added, removed, or changed, shown side by side or merged into one view, compared line by line or word by word as you prefer. Everything runs right on your device — your files are never uploaded to a server, safe even for sensitive internal documents.

Frequently asked questions
Does comparing PDFs send my files over the internet?
Everything runs right in your browser — your files are never uploaded to any server, keeping them completely private.
Can I compare scanned (image) PDFs?
No. The tool compares the TEXT LAYER of digital PDFs; scanned PDFs have no text layer, so they need OCR (out of scope). When it encounters a scanned file, the tool will clearly notify you.
Does the tool compare layout or content?
It compares text CONTENT in reading order, not page layout. Two files with the same content but different line breaks/layout may show a few differences due to how paragraphs are grouped.
